HOW OFTEN DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Alex recommends four weekly sessions initially with reassessment to follow. Each client is different. Some may continue to need weekly sessions or the sessions may be tapered down to bi-weekly or monthly. There is no way for Alex to predict the duration of your therapy, as some clients require several months or even several years.
IS INSURANCE ACCEPTED?
Your counselor at Empowered by Alex LLC does not accept insurance.
You have the option to self-pay for your session or request a detailed receipt (aka: Superbill) to file for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. Depending on the details of your insurance coverage/plan, you may receive some level of reimbursement. Empowered by Alex LLC is considered out-of-network with all insurance plans.
If you are unsure about your coverage, you may wish to call your insurance provider and ask about coverage for: “Individual Outpatient Psychotherapy” by an “Out of Network Provider.” If meeting via a video call please add utilizing “Telehealth.” By using that language, your insurance provider should be able to provide specific information regarding reimbursement.
