29 Aug Your Inner Fire
What does it take to fuel your inner fire?
You may think, “I don’t have an inner fire,” or, “what do you even mean by inner fire?”
Think of what fire looks like visually. It is all-encompassing, fast-moving, risky, and beautiful. Your inner fire leads you to your passion, your truth, your purpose, and your livelihood. Without a burning desire in your heart, your life will feel meaningless and methodical.
Empowered by Alex seeks to reignite your fire and zest for life by harnessing your innate strengths, your love for life and most importantly, your intuition that is the guiding force for each of us. We are born with the ability to find passion in all things by listening to our inner voice. Unfortunately, our inner voice (our fire) is often stifled or put out with society’s demands, parenting, trauma, socialization, or mental health problems. In order to reignite our fire, our zest for life, we have to reconnect to our true self, our inner child, our intuition. This is where pure joy is found.
If you have a child or have ever observed a young child, they are not thinking about each step they take, they are not wondering what others think of them, they are not afraid. They follow their intuition without even knowing what intuition is. They do what they want when they want to do it.
The example that comes to mind is my friend’s five-year-old son. The other day he was hot, bored, and ready to go home during a work meeting. He hid himself behind a curtain and yelled, “I just want to be alone.” The purity of his self-expression impressed me, as much of my work with my clients involves teaching them that feelings are okay and they must be expressed. As adults, we can’t hide ourselves behind a curtain and scream in all instances but we can go to nature and scream, cry to a friend, and scribble our feelings down.
What allows you to feel your inner fire? Do more of that. Connect to YOU.
“Forget about the fast lane. If you really want to fly, harness your power to your passion. Honor your calling. Everybody has one. Trust your heart, and success will come to you.” – Oprah Winfrey
